YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP

Bicol USA Houston Chapter is a member of the umbrella non profit organization Bikolnational Association of America Inc. or BNAA for short who handles the scholarship program.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Bikol National Association of America, Inc. (BNAA) shall award scholarships in college to deserving students enrolled or intending to enroll as full-time students in degree or non-degree courses in duly accredited schools in the Philippines. A “full-time student” shall be as defined by the school of the grantee. Upon completion of all academic requirements by the grantee, BNAA shall award to him or her, at graduation, a Certificate of Achievement.

MEDICAL MISSION
Health care is a major concern of all nations, particularly in third world countries such as the Philippines and in areas like the Bicol region. Some information indicates that three out of five indigent brothers and sisters or ours in the rural areas die without the benefit of any medical attention from any source.

In an effort to improve the standard of care in the Bicol region, the Bicol National Association of America (BNAA), through the leadership and efforts of its former president, Mario Tecson, and continued by its incumbent President Roger Odiamar, includes the medical mission on its agenda.
